One of a kind 35 year rocking chair. This chair was made for John Kenny's secretary when she retired. It has a similar, but not the same scene as the 20 year chair. This is the rarest of ANY Hitchcock chair made, and is arguably the most beautiful one. It is a scene Of Hitchcocksville (Riverton) , Connecticut in the 1800's when Lambert Hitchcock first opened his factory. This chair was presented to employees after they worked at Hitchcock for 20 years. There were under 50 of these chairs made, and as you can imagine alot of them will stay in their families forever. This chair has the original owners name and anniversary date on the back. They have asked to remain nameless. This is the older style chair because this employee started back in the 1950's. Only the 30 year bench is more rare with around 8 made. This is a great investment piece and is already a collectors item. $2200 ($2000 cash or check discount)
